LEAP is legal practice management software offered by LEAP Legal Software, a privately held, Australian based software company. LEAP was listed in Australian Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 in 2004,[1] 2008[2] and 2009[3] and in the BRW Fast 100 in 2009.[4] LEAP expanded to the UK and US markets in 2014[5] and 2015.[6] In 2016, LEAP Legal Software generated $50 million in annual revenue. It employs more than 300 employees worldwide.[7] LEAP is now developed by LEAP Dev.[8]

LEAP Legal Software's flagship product is LEAP. The key features of LEAP include[9] a client and contact database, document assembly and management, automated matter types and forms, file sharing, time recording, and billing and trust accounting tools.

The OESP & LEAP Program Manual (the Manual) is intended to guide the delivery of the Ontario Energy Board’s (the OEB) Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) and Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). This Manual will serve as a program guide for the agencies performing intake for OESP and/or LEAP (intake agencies ).

- Eligible, the next step is to file an application to participate in a LEAP examination. A copy of the LEAP Certification form must also be submitted with the standard State application form when filing for a LEAP examination. If a copy isn't attached, the application will be returned to the applicant. The individual should always keep his.
- The term file management in the context of computers refers to the manipulation of data in a file or files and documents on a computer. Though everybody has an understanding of the term file, we present a formal definition anyway: A file or a computer file is a chunk of logically related data or information which can be used by computer programs.
LEAP data is stored in the cloud, and accessed through an interface that is installed on a desktop computer. Data storage is maintained by provider Amazon Web Services on servers in Australia,[11] the United States[12] and Europe.[13]
Integration with Microsoft[edit]
LEAP was integrated with Microsoft Office in 2002. In January 2016, LEAP completed an integration with the new Microsoft Office 365 software allowing complex document assembly to occur in the cloud rather than the desktop.[14]

Initially a division of LEAP known as LEAP Searching, InfoTrack was launched as a separate company in 2012 and has since been brought under the umbrella company of Australian Technology Investors.[22][23] It had a reported annual revenue of A$144 million in 2015.[24]

LEAP Legal Software was founded in 1992 by Christian Beck who remains the company's largest shareholder.[25]
LEAP Legal Software has had an Employee Share Scheme since 2009. There are more than 130 LEAP employees who own shares through this scheme.[7]
LEAP Legal Software's global headquarters are in Sydney, Australia. Its Australian offices are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. It has offices abroad in New York, New Jersey, Twickenham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Brighton and Kraków.[26]
History and development[edit]
LEAP was created in 1992 by Christian Beck, who felt that lawyers’ workflow could be improved using technology.[27] In 2008 Leap acquired LegalPax, a provider of automated forms and precedents to law firms in Queensland.[28] In the beginning of 2010, Leap launched a cloud software called LEAP Expedite.[29] It also purchased BING! Software, a family law precedents business.[30] LEAP Office 10 was launched at the NSW State Legal Conference in August 2010.[31] In 2012, LEAP Expedite was replaced with a completely rewritten cloud product.[29] LEAP 365 was released for the UK and US markets at an event at Yankee Stadium on September 12, 2016.[30] LEAP 365 was the first software-as-a-service legal application for the Australian market.[32]

How to compile C programs with GCC compiler?
If you are using GCC on Linux operating system, then you may need to modify the programs. For example, consider the following program that prints the first ten natural numbers.

The program includes a header file

If you are using GCC, save the program in a file say 'numbers.c' to compile the program, open the terminal and enter the command 'gcc numbers.c', this compile the program and to execute it enter the command './a.out' do not use quotes while executing commands. You can specify the output file name as 'gcc numbers.c -o numbers.out', to run execute './numbers.out' in the terminal.

A program consists of functions that contain instructions given to a machine to perform a task. The process of writing it includes designing an algorithm, drawing a flowchart, and then writing code. After writing it, you need to test it and debug it if it does not produce the required output.
To write a program, you need a text editor (use your favorite one) and a compiler. A compiler converts source code into machine code, which consists of zero's and one's only, ready to be executed on a machine.
An IDE (Integrated Development Environment) provides a text editor, compiler, debugger, etc. for developing programs and managing projects. A program must have at least a main function. A function consists of declarations and statements. A statement is an expression followed by a semicolon. For example, a + b, printf('C program examples') are expressions and a + b; and printf('C is an easy to learn computer programming language'); are statements.
To use a variable, we must indicate its type, whether it is an integer, float, character, or others. C language has many built-in data types, and we can create ours using structures and unions. Every data type has its size that may depend on the machine; for example, an integer may be of 2 or 4 Bytes. Data is stored in a binary form, i.e., a group of bits where each bit can be '0' or '1'.
Keywords such as 'switch,' 'case,' 'default,' 'register,' are reserved words with predefined meaning and can't be used as the name of a variable or a function. Memory can be allocated at compile-time or run-time using malloc and calloc functions. C language has many features such as recursion, preprocessor, conditional compilation, portability, pointers, multi-threading by using external libraries, dynamic memory allocation. Thanks to these, it is used for making portable software programs and applications. Using networking API's users can communicate and interact with each other and share files.
C standard library contains functions for mathematical operations, characters, input/output, files, and many more. The process of writing a program known as coding requires knowledge of programming language and logic to achieve the desired output. So you should learn C programming basics and start making programs.
Learning data structures (stacks, queues, linked lists, binary trees, graphs) using C provides you a greater understanding as you study everything in detail. A general belief is to go for high-level languages. However, it's a good idea to learn C before learning C++ or Java. C++ is object-oriented and contains all features of C, so learning C help you learn C++ quickly, then you can study Java.
